Signs That God Is Working in Your Life

There are many signs that God can use to prove to you that He is indeed working in your life. But, do you even know what these signs are? Are you aware of the things that God does when He starts working in your life?

God is a loving Father who cares about you all the time. He cares about your well-being, your peace of mind, your progress and all other aspects of your life. God grants you the grace to grow day by day until the time when you are ripe for specific blessings and breakthroughs. In Isaiah 60:22, He says that when the time is right, He will work it out for you. Yes, at the right time, God makes things happen in your life.

God is always working in your life. He started working in your life even before you were born. However, there are things that take time for Him to do in our lives. That is why we often go to Him in prayer asking that He may grant our heart desires. And, the assurance that we have is that He is faithful enough to answer our prayers. It is only a matter of when He will start doing, and not if He will or how He will do it. Furthermore, He is capable of giving us more that we ask of Him.

Ephesians 3:20 (NIV) – “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”  

So, how do you know that God is actually working in your life?    

Answered Prayers Are an Awesome Sign of God Working in Your Life

Matthew 7:7 (NIV) – “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

Not everyone who asks is given whatever they ask. And, it is not all the time that you are given whatever you ask for. However, there comes a time when God grants you everything you ask from Him. I am a living testimony of this. After going through a long period of suffering, God finally remembered me. Through that period, I kept praying and asking God for specific things. I can testify that He is indeed faithful to His promises. And, you can have this confidence when you pray; that He will answer your prayers.

1 John 5:14 (NIV) – “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”

God heard my prayers and answered me from His throne. He granted me everything I asked for. I had prayed for the healing of my dad, for a job, for my healing from depression, and for many other things. The moment God started answering my prayer requests, I knew for sure that He had started working in my life. Therefore, when God answers your prayers, be in the know that He is working in your life.

Healing Is a Sign of God’s Work in Your Life

Jeremiah 30:17 (NIV) – “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the Lord.”’

We all fall sick at some point in our lives. And, during these moments we call upon the Lord to heal us. This may happen instantly or it may take time. God promises that when you get sick, He will restore you to good health. However long it may take, when you receive healing, be thankful that God is working in your life. He healed Job from the sores the devil had inflicted on Him. This proved that God still cared for Job and He wanted him in good health. It was a clear sign that even though the worst had happened to him, He was still working in his life. Therefore, when God heals you from any disease, it is one of the signs that God is working in your life.

Provision Is a Sign of God’s Faithful Doings in Your Life

Matthew 7:11 (NIV) – “If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him!”

God is a good God who promises to bless us with every good thing in the heavenly realms. His provision comes in many forms. God provides peace, food, shelter, finances and may other good things that we need for our survival. However, many of us take His provision for granted. We are not aware that it is one of the signs that He is working in our lives. He gives good gifts to those who love Him and supplies to the needs of His people according to His glorious riches.

Is God meeting your needs? Are you having food on your table every day? Do you have a roof over you? These are some of the things that God provides. They are signs that He is working in your wife. Were it not so, you would not be having all that you have. Take a moment and that the Lord for His wonderful and marvelous provision. Thank Him for all little things that you have because they are sure signs that God is working in your life.

Positive Things Start Happening When God Is Working in Your Life

1 Peter 5:10 (NIV) – “And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”

Sometimes we go through challenges and struggles, and we wonder if God is present in our lives. We forget that God is ever present, whether it is in good times or bad times. Many of us associate the presence of God with good seasons only; seasons of blessings favor and breakthroughs. God is always with you; He promises that He will never leave you. He is there to walk with you through the hard times. In the end, He will restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. God will bless you, and you will start seeing positive changes in your life. These positive changes are some of the signs that God is working in your life.

God Will Send You Destiny Helpers to Prove He Is at Work in Your Life

God works in different ways, and His ways are beyond our imagination. Sometimes, He uses the least of ways that we expect Him to use to bless us. One of these ways is that He can send strangers in to our lives who will turn out to be our destiny helpers. Such are the doings of the Lord. He connects us with people who will push us to our dreams, visions and destiny.

Isaiah 46:11 (NIV) – “From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that I will bring about; what I have planned, that I will do.”

When God is working in your life, He will use people from a far-off land to fulfil His purpose in your life. Therefore, when destiny helpers come your way be thankful that God is at work in your life.

God Will Deliver You from Trouble

Psalms 50:15 (NIV) – “And, call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”

Tough times are a normal part of life, and when they come, you need to stay strong. Tough times may come in different forms. They may come through an illness, financial constraints, heartbreaks, loss or through many other forms. In whichever form they come, remain steadfast in the Lord. He promised that He will deliver in the day of trouble when you call on Him. God is not slow to fulfil His promises, and He does not lie about His word. He delivers the righteous from all their troubles. When God comes through to your help in the day of trouble, it is a sign that He is working in your life.

God Will Always Protect You

2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NIV) – “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.”  

How many times has God protected you from danger, harm or evil? The truth is, the times are countless. Why? Because God protects us every day, every time. We cannot keep count of the times God protects us because sometimes He does it without our knowledge. He protects us from the forces of evil in the heavenly realms that we have no clue about.

In Ephesians, the Bible reminds us of our constant spiritual battle with the devil. And, it is God who fights on our behalf, and protects us from all harm. When you carefully examine your life, you will notice that God protects you from minor injuries and attacks every other day. These are not mere coincidences or luck. Rather, they are signs that God is working in your life.

Peace Is One of the Signs That God Is Working in Your Life

Philippians 4:7 (NIV) – “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

God provides peace as one of the ways through which He works in the lives of His people. If He is at work in your life, you will experience peace even in the midst of chaos. No situation will be able to shake you. Instead, you will experience peace wherever you go. You will have your peace of mind even in challenging situations. This is the peace of God that transcends all understanding; it is beyond explanation. It is the peace that abounds in situations where it is least expected to abound. When you experience calmness in your mind and peace wherever you go, God is at work in your life.

Watch out for the signs that God is working in your life, and thank God for what He is doing. Never take for granted anything that He does for you. He loves you, He cares for you, and you are valuable in His sight. God is always at work in your life even in times when you do not seem to see it. He is working to bring to completion every good thing that He started in you. And, He is also working to bring you a future, hope, prosperity, and success. God is at work to make all things work together for your good. All the signs that God is working in your life will eventually lead to something great.
