Signs that God is elevating you are often clear, but not all of us understand them. God loves us, and His desire is to lift us up in His grace and kindness. He is always working to elevate us from one level to another. But, how? And, how do we know that God is elevating us? What are the signs that show God is taking us to another level?
Psalms 75:6-7 (NIV) says, “No one from the east or the west or from the desert can exalt themselves. It is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another.”

God Is Elevating You When You Experience Supernatural Breakthroughs
One of the signs that God is elevating you is that blessings will start coming your way. Showers of God’s divine blessings will start flowing in your life. Elevation is often accompanied by blessings, favor and breakthroughs. God may bless you with a job, He may expand your business or bless you with a good family. When you start experiencing breakthroughs in your life, it is a sure sign that God is elevating you.
When God Answers Your Prayers, It Is a Sign That God Is Elevating You
Not all our prayer requests are answered immediately by God. Some take way too long before God responds. We may even give up on them thinking that God has rejected our requests. However, when God is about to elevate you, He will answer every prayer need that you present before Him.
1 John 5:14-15 (NIV) – “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And, if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him.”
God will hear us and grant us anything we need from Him if it is time to elevate us. He says that at the appointed time, He makes everything beautiful. When it is time for Him to move us from one level to another, He will heed to all our pleas.
God Is About to Elevate You When You Experience Extreme Hardship
Have you ever heard of the saying, ‘it is darkest when it is about to dawn?’ There are times when you may go through extreme hard times that may lead you to question God. But here is what God says in Isaiah 55:8-9 (NIV).
God says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
God’s working is always beyond our understanding. When God is about to elevate you, He can use hard times. The ways that He uses to bring us to elevation may not always be the ways that we expect Him to use. Our understanding of elevation is not His understanding of elevation. He may bring a challenge our way so that we can wake up from our comfort zones and move forward.
Romans 8:18 (NIV) says, “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”
There is always a testimony after every test, and that includes the testimony of elevation too. Whenever you go through severe trials and tribulations, fear not. They may just be a sign that God is about to release His glory upon you. And, as we all know, the glory of God can move you from one level of grace to another.
When Doors Open Before You, It Is a Sign That God Is Elevating You
Revelation 3:8 (NIV) says, “I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.”
When God wants to elevate you, He will not look at your strengths and abilities. Rather, He will elevate you and grant you the grace to do exceedingly great things. When God wanted to anoint a king to replace king Saul, He did not look at the age or physical features of David. He chose Him the way he was, and made His grace sufficient for him. Doors of success, favor, abundance and prosperity will start opening before you when God wants to promote you. A business deal or tender that was denied will be accepted when your time for elevation comes. All the doors that you knock will be opened for you. Favor will locate you wherever you go, and nothing you do will fail. Therefore, when you see doors opening before you, just know that it is one of the signs that God is elevating you.
God Will Connect You to Mentors and Destiny Helpers When He Wants to Elevate You
When God wants to elevate you, He will send influential people your way. He will bring people who will encourage and inspire you to move to greater heights. Remember God can use anyone to bless and promote you. One single person can hold your hand and be the bridge to your success. These people may be our church ministers, our colleagues at work, our business partners or even strangers. When you meet someone who becomes a positive influence in your life, it could be that God is using them to elevate you.
Conclusion
There are many signs that can show God is elevating you, and the ones mentioned above are just a few of them. Do not miss out on your promotion or elevation out of ignorance. Stay alert in the spirit, watch out for the signs that show God is elevating you, and have faith in Him. When it is time, God will bring everything that He started in you to fruition. He will work beyond our knowledge to ensure that He promotes us to higher levels under His grace. Receive your elevation and promotion in Jesus’ Name!
